Bringing back life to this community space.

Edwards Wilson were appointed by St John Upper Norwood to look at a potential scheme to encompass a wide range of developments, including re-ordering, the addition of a new link-café, and the establishment of a performing arts centre. Additionally, the project will work collaboratively to address the ongoing critical repair works necessary to preserve this Grade 2* listed church, which currently resides on the heritage at risk register. St John the Evangelist Upper Norwood has a rich history and holds great cultural significance to the community. While not currently being pursued, the vision is to breathe new life into this cherished space, honouring its heritage while equipping it to meet the needs and aspirations of the modern era, which remains at the centre of our conservation ethos.
